April News Letter
Hi Everyone
This year is flying by and we are hard at work planning for the rest of the 2021 and the bookings are coming in. Thankyou all for the support and fantastic response we’ve had for our new Holiday Brochure and Day Trip list.
The first week we opened the shop was amazing, I cant recall a time when so many bookings came in during one week and we had people queuing outside the shop, I’m so pleased the weather was good and clients had time to have a chat (socially distanced of course) and catch up with friends while they waited.
The new routes we have introduced for day trips have started to show signs of people booking from new areas like Bradley Stoke, Emerson’s Green and Thornbury on day tips which is really positive, but if any of you have friends and relations in these areas please spread the word, we are working hard to increase our customer base for these areas. The 17thMay see’s the start of the Day Excursions with a Mystery Day, it’s going to be a special day and we are all excited to get back on the road.
Holidays are booking well and we are already full on the Guernsey and Manchester Ship Canal holidays with 40 booked on ( the most we can take). We have limited space left on the Cornwall, Gardens of North Wales and Little Trains of Nr Wales, so if you are thinking of any of these holidays ‘Don’t delay book today’.
We start the Holidays on the 11th June with Chatsworth (2night Short Break) originally it was for the flower show but unfortunately this has been cancelled so we have a visit to Chatsworth House and Gardens including entry to the house. We also have a Scenic tour of the Peak district visiting some of the beautiful sights in the national park. We could do with a few more on this short break so if any of you want a relaxed weekend this could be the one for you.
Glenda has been busy; it looks like some of the Shows are going to be starting in September and as usual she has some special priced tickets available for these. She has also some London weekends booked later this year so why not take the opportunity to visit London, see the sights (with no tourists or at least very few) and enjoy a fantastic weekend. There’s limited space on her Right Royal Weekend departing 16TH Oct, a must for history fans includes entry to Windsor Castle & Tower of London.
Coaches will still be (fogged) disinfected daily in addition to the Pepa-F Air Purifier Filtration Equipment fitted to the coaches. Face masks will still berequired when travelling on our coaches, sanitiser and wipes will also be available.

March News Letter
Hi Everyone
Spring is here and the clocks go forward this weekend, so don’t forget to make the change. I expect you’re wondering what’s happening with chauffeurhire, well we’re here and ready to go. I think this lockdown has been the hardest for all of us. We have all had our first jabs at chauffeurhire and we expect the majority of our clientele have had theirs too, so this will undoubtedly make travelling in a group safer.
We’ve been planning for the summer with lots of day trips and new holidays have been organised. A new summer edition holiday brochure has been produced (which is attached for you lucky lot on our e-mail list, so you’re the first to receive it) for those of you for whom we hold an address, we’ll be mailing out a copy as well, or as many as we can (afford). If you don’t get one in the post and would like one, please give us a call on 01454 319047. You’ll be able to down load a copy from our web site www.chauffeurhireplus.co.uk . We’re opening the shop on the 12th April and are planning some road shows with a coach and our drivers will be handing out leaflets and brochures around the area, so look out for one of our coaches parked up as they will have up-to-date day trip lists and brochures on board. Paul and myself will be in the office and we are hoping that with the cold miserable weather it’s made you all long to get out and enjoy some sunny days (always guaranteed with our trips) so spread the word we up and running from 17th May .
With the uncertainty of holidays abroad we have concentrated on staying in the UK and these start from June. All our holidays will have our free door to door service (within our local area) interesting day excursions, quality hotels and of course smart helpful drivers who are there to make your day as enjoyable as possible (you never know you, might even see me driving I could do with a day out too).
Day trips will start from the 17th May and for the first month we will mainly be visiting interesting outdoor places, seaside’s and towns giving you plenty of room to socially distance, as we reach mid June we will start to introduce some more interesting places, NT properties, boat & train trips and gardens that you have all enjoyed in the past. Hopefully the Theatres will start to open and Glenda will be able to start the Theatre trips and special trips like Tea at the Ritz etc. after speaking to her this morning I know she has had a lot of enquires for up and coming shows.
Bookings will be taken from the 12th April for Day trips and holidays, if you have a question ring me on 01454 319047 or email me at info@chauffeurhireplus.co.uk and I will do my best to answer your enquiry. If you’re already booked on a holiday that’s shown in the brochure, don’t worry, we’re still holding that place for you and will be in contact with you when we get back in the shop.
The one thing I have really missed is our open days, meeting and having a chat with you all over a cup of tea and cake. Lyn, Glenda, Paul and the drivers have said the same, it’s been a long time since we have had a social day and we all hope it won’t be too long before we can do it again.
The 12th of April can’t come quick enough for us, so get planning everybody, let’s get travelling
February 2021Newsletter
And we’re off. Great news this week, it’s really given everyone at Chauffeurhire a boost. IF ALL GOES TO PLAN, we can start work again.
From the 12th of April We will be opening the shop for bookings
From the 17th May Day trips can start and we have lots of trips planned. Our first trip of 2021 will be one of our famous mystery day trips, so call into the shop and book a seat. We really can’t wait to start seeing you all again.
PICK UP POINTS
We’ve revamped our pickup points and split these into 3 separate routes. The routes run on specific days, when booking your day trip, check the route number and the day that it’s scheduled to take place. It may be a bit confusing to start with, but if you’re not sure, give us a call and we’ll talk you through the new routes and how it works.
Route Number | Pickup Points | Days |
Route 1 | Downend, Emersons Green, Coalpit heath, Yate, and Chipping Sodbury | Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday |
Route 2 | Chipping Sodbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Bradley Stoke, Almondsbury, Alveston and Thornbury | Wednesday and Friday |
Route 3 | Chipping Sodbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Bradley Stoke, Patchway, Filton and Henbury | Saturdays |
There will be some exceptions to the new routes, for example special dates or visits, but we will try to accommodate everyone so nobody feels that they will miss out. The new routes will enable us to plan more day trips and allow us the flexibility to run 6 day trips a week through the summer and autumn period. To start off, and to take advantage of the glorious summer weather, we’re going to visit outside venues first. I’m sure like us, you all want to get out and do something different and see something outside our locality.
At the moment our aim is to operate in the same way as we did last year in September and October observing the tier three conditions, so the wearing of masks/visors will be mandatory (unless you have a medical certificate of exemption) along with disposable gloves and hand sanitiser. We will only lift these measures as and when the government guidelines permit us to do so. We will continue to make the safety of our passengers a priority and want to reiterate that all our coaches have been fitted with Hispacold Eco3 & Pepa-F Air Purifier Filtration Equipment, 99.9% effective that purifies the air before circulating it, every coach will also be fogged daily .
